Colour Consultations

Choosing colours can be exciting yet terrifying to some. A well designed colour scheme will produce a "comfort zone" where we want to linger. There is no place where the influence of colour is felt more intensely than in the places you live, work or relax. The right colours and colour combinations will stimulate and calm your senses, release joyful memories; replicate how you and your family, friends or co-workers feel about each space, and how you relate to each other there. Different cultures attach significance to certain colors and science has shown that you can transform and change your mental and physical state by choosing certain colours in a room. The selection of colour is an art and not a single point of view, or trend the process will save you time and money.

Colour…
  • expresses individuality
  • creates ambience
  • has power
  • lifts the spirits
  • conveys ones personality based on life experiences
  • changes a mood
  • cleanses and revives
The Colour Consultant will…
  • take the time to listen
  • understand your personal colour choices
  • guide you through the process of selecting the appropriate paint colour
  • create a colour concept that matches your lifestyle and fits your home
  • take into consideration light sources, architectural elements and personality traits of the owners
  • determine the intended use of the space
  • work with existing colours within your home

"It is important to understand the process of seeing color in order to appreciate how complex this system we take for granted actually is".
LEATRICE EISEMAN, DIRECTOR OF THE PANTONE COLOR INSTITUTE.
