Art of Living Interior Design is the culmination of 30 years of Donna’s education and experience which
include drawing, painting, commercial and graphic design, history of architecture and furniture, fundamentals of
design, drafting for interiors, space planning, colour theory, computer aided design, business and management.
Donna has a Diploma in Interior Decorating and is a recognized Certified Interior Decorator, a member of CDECA
the Canadian Decorator’s Association, and a computer and design student of BCIT and Emily Carr University of Art
& Design. Donna’s gift for drawing and painting, her passion for art and design is evident; she has received an art
award and a large amount of recognition for her talent.
With her keen interest in art history along with travelling Europe and other parts of the world she is always
eager to gain a greater knowledge of art, architecture and furniture design. Donna is continually inspired and
the passion she holds for the classic lines of design will always show through in her innovative talent. She finds
inspiration in many ways and she is creative at designing and decorating spaces into elegantly European classic to
serenely chic and modern.
Over the years she has had the opportunity to be involved with colour consulting, decorating and design of many
interior and exterior projects. Donna displays a professional attitude, leadership skills, efficiency, and possesses
a background and natural ability of managing efficiently the organization of trades. Donna’s delightful personality with an optimistic and professional outlook guides her clients through the design process and ensures the experience is rewarding. In addition, her thoughtful attention to detail, her gift to create unique designs will not only inspire but be admired for many years to come.
Not only does Donna follow the motto “form follows function” of American architect Louis Sullivan, who created the phrase, in 1896, but she brings to her clients spaces innovative ways to make them feel unique, relaxed and rejuvenated the moment they step in… a feeling of… being at home.
